The eCommerce Bootcamp Mentor Review (Justin Cener)

Justin Cener

Justin Cener opens with a catchphrase“hey everybody” in his YouTube video and claims that he can teach you legitimate ways to earn money online. According to him, you can ditch your 9-5 job and live the life you always want to live with his recommended business model. The said business model which is basically a print-on-demand dropshipping store is discussed in detail on his program named The eCommerce Bootcamp Mentor. Learn more about his program by reading the review below.

NEXT: Compare This To eCommerce

The eCommerce Bootcamp Mentor program is a do at your own pace training course that covers everything you need to establish a print-on-demand dropshipping store on Shopify. It was founded by Justin Cener, a Shopify expert who mentored hundreds of students to six or seven figure businesses and awarded with ClickFunnels Two Comma distinction. He also has over 38.5k subscribers on his YouTube channel that provided free basic trainings on dropshipping.

The core training is in the form of in-depth step-by-step video tutorials. First topic is choosing your niche which recommends sticking to only one niche to specialize. Next is all about setting up your own store on Shopify, one of the prominent eCommerce platforms in the world alongside Amazon. Setting up your print-on-demand service will also be tackled in the core training. Specifically, the program recommends Gear Launch for this. There is also a training session dedicated to email marketing to gather more leads for your Shopify store. Additionally, the training also has its “bootcamp” series of videos that is more comprehensive than the initial topics mentioned and is titled according to their theme. The said bootcamp series are titled as follows: Print on Demand Bootcamp, Dropshipping Bootcamp, Facebook Ads Bootcamp, Influencer Marketing Bootcamp, and ClickFunnels Bootcamp.

Beside the core training, the program also offers bonus contents such as case studies (including the Wolf Mug store behind the scenes course which is the most notable store of Justin), selling canvas and wall art masterclass, 100 done for you (DFY) Facebook Ads Targeting, 97 DFY email templates, and 600 DFY print on demand designs. According to the site, the value of the program is at $19,470 but only retails for a one-time payment of $997 or four payments of $250.

To note, the said payment scheme is rare because other programs would make the difference between the one-time payment and split payment significantly larger to discourage the latter mode of payment (e.g., you will only take split payment if you have no means to pay in full). In The eCommerce Bootcamp Mentor, the said difference is very little at only $3 which is very commendable and makes the flexible option an actual valid choice of payment mode. To add, it is cheaper than similar courses on print on demand dropshipping like Dave Kettner’s Printable Profits. The only problem is the refund policy which states that you can only get your money back when you return within 24 hours. This is not good since there is no way to know whether the program is right for you in a very short time.

Another con of this program is the risk of operating at a loss. Sure, you do not have to pay for inventory unlike conventional dropshipping stores, but you still must pay for hosting fee on Shopify, Facebook Ads (which is expensive nowadays), email tools, and monthly fee for Gear Launch. If you are also not good at creating designs yourself, you also need to either pay for commission works or hire a salaried artist. This is a problem when you cannot make enough sales to cover for it.

It is also important to know that dropshipping is not a recommended business nowadays, even getting the moniker of “deadshipping” recently. The main reason it was not recommended is because of its highly saturated market. You must put a lot of time, effort, and money on ads to establish your brand and stand out among millions of sellers of the same product. The profit of margin for said business is also very low, making it a volume-extensive endeavor.

In conclusion, Justin Cener and his eCommerce Bootcamp Mentor program is not a scam. In fact, it is a decent course if you really want to set up your own print on demand dropshipping store. However, this is not a recommended side hustle since it is costly and requires a lot of various resources to set up. Skip the program if you are not sure if dropshipping is the right business for you. Instead, check free resources regarding dropshipping like Justin’s YouTube channel first.
