Who is Ryan Williams?

Cadre CEO

Ryan Williams was in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, During his youth at the age of 13 he founded a sports apparel company. No further details about the company name or how he founded it just take it with a grain of salt.

He also matriculated in Harvard University and there he discovered the Veritas Financial group that is known as this University’s largest undergraduate financial literacy group.

Moving forward to his career his technological ‘aha’ in real estate started during his undergraduate term at Harvard.

He was inspired to create this system that can track foreclosed homes. What inspired him was the amount of houses foreclosed during his trip in Atlanta.

Ryan started using the datas and information he gathered from the area using it as a tool to start buying and restoring houses for occupancy. He and some of his colleagues started “flipping” homes.

TL;DR Flipping Home: Let’s clear this out the act of flipping homes is buying undervalue restoring and selling them for a higher price on what you’ve spent on it.

Moving forward having some racial discrimination even with the success of flipping houses Ryan was rejected by a lot of banks but only 1 bank gave him the benefit of the doubt. He expressed gratitude toward Citizen Trust Bank.

After he graduated from Harvard he started to work at Goldman Sachs and Blackstone before starting Cadre in 2014.

At 26 years of age Ryan decided to leave Blackstone and started his own company and named it Cadre. It introduced Cadre as a platform similar to the stock market but for Real Estate.

With the success of Cadre he got even more deals like being part of the 65 mil Series C Fundraising of Andreessen Horowitz.

Cadre becomes the market of all kinds of assets that can be similar to the liquidity of the stock market.

As time goes by Ryan with his success starts to gain more world attention and becomes a speaker for a lot of conferences and even appeared on news programs as someone who’s expert with real estate technology.

In 2020 started his coaching career and mentorship and offered it to diverse communities offering hands-on guidance and comprehensive skill training programs.

He also started to partner with banks, lenders and he even committed 10% of Cadre’s cash holdings to be held in minority depository institutions.

By the year 2021 He announced the $400 mil fund that will be invested in commercial real estate. Even Harvard invested in him to produce greater economic equity.

Additionally William sold three buildings the the amounts $312 million that makes his investor gain a return capital of $95 million for their investors. It was probably his largest sales with a 17% rate if internal returns,

In 2023 Cadre now merged with Yieldstreet and became a global investment platform that mainly focused on credit investments. Together Cadre and Yieldstreet produce a tantamounting return of $3.1 Billion for their clients who have $9.7 investment value.

As of now Cadre is operating independently as one of the lead in global institutional client relations and business development partnership. Cadre marked their legacy in the realm of Financial Technology.

Now you know the story of how Cadre is created let’s move forward and know more about Cadre itself.

What is Cadre Real Estate?

Cadre Real Estate

Cadre Real Estate is what you called a premier real estate investment platform.

Confusingly Cadre claims diversity but the thing is it only caters exclusively to accredited investors meeting stringent financial criteria—requiring a minimum net worth of $1 million or an annual income exceeding $200,000.

Distinguishing itself from other institutions that probably caters more specially in the low end but Cadre only opens doors to institutional-grade real estate projects traditionally reserved for major investors.

The good thing is that Cadre gives transparency stands as a hallmark benefit for their Investors. They received comprehensive details on their chosen real estate ventures, including market data, financial projections, and deal documents.

As an investor this commitment fosters investor confidence. Making these VIP’s or high rollers their money’s worth.

Cadre has this astounding historical annual return rate of 18%. Cadre surpassed other competitions that can only provide like 8-12%, Im talking about you Fundrise.

Cadre leverages their stand on technology to procure and manage their properties effectively. From apartments, offices, hotels and warehouse Cadre got them all in control.

The platform offers there investors 3 ways to Invest that I’ll also give you a breakdown. First one was Cadre Direct Access Fund, they also got Deal-by-deal and lastly Secondary market.

Now since Cadre looks like your top tier choice let’s have a breakdown on how you can invest with them.

3 ways to Invest in Cadre

Cadre Funds or Cadre Direct Funds

Cadre Funds is your reduced risk go to claim that you can spread your investments across the market and property type to reduce probable problems in your portfolios.

Cadre also offers Tax advantages for your K-1 tax down to your IRA. They even throw you the assurance of a detailed state of the market. Lastly Cadre will actively manage your to avoid risk and adjust returns.

Cadre Deal-by-deal

This one there professionals will be the one to manage the asset across your investment cycle. Starting from Acquisition of the asset you wanna buy, to Syndication where they bring new investments in their platform while splitting it between deal-by-deal and cadre funds.

Afterwards once everything is settled they’ll manage it and assure it via trusted sponsors that can execute the plan. Managing the assets till it’s ripe  for the picking, that’s when they aim to sell it.

By the time it was sold it’s also the time they distribute the capital gains across the investors and that’s how you earn from them.

Cadre Secondary Market

In this investment they match up their buyers and investors giving them a win-win scenario. Sellers get good access to liquidity and buyers can access offers that are tailored for them.

Downside of Investing with Cadre

The downside would probably be the capital you’re gonna need in order to venture with them.

Plus the external factors that Cadre can’t control like taxes and government Real Estate Regulations that might affect your assets and investments in the future.

Who Can Invest in Cadre and How much?

Cadre Review

You might be wondering if you’re eligible to partake in Cadre’s Real Estate Investment. Cadre caters exclusively to accredited investors as I’ve said in my overview.

To qualify, individuals must have a net worth of at least $1 million (excluding their primary residence) this is really a high stakes high reward investment.

Surely people like me or some of you can’t afford this but for the big guys it’s a no brainer they have the money to make more money.

If your pockets ain’t that deep I got some few recommendations on my links in this posting.

Additionally one must also have an annual income of $200,000 (or $300,000 for joint filers) for the past two years, with an expectation of maintaining that income in the current year.

Would I recommend Cadre Real Estate?

For big spenders and deep pockets type of people if your the guy that can put large sum of money Cadre Real Estate will be your good choice. The background, data, information and even records they’ve set is truly astonishing.

They even assure you though different partner banks, lending institutions that your investment will be safe even if things go south. They did give you good deals and maginal returns from every assests and properties they got that you invested in.

But practicality wise and you’re not in leagues with people who can spend millions or dont have at least $200,000 a year, it’s really not for you.

There are some other institutions that offer lower or cheap listings that can fit your budget. And offer the same security as Cadre offers.

Honestly if you do have some xxxx amount of money in your hands now I’d rather start around doing how Ryan Williams started checking my areas flips and renovate some houses and sell them.

Lastly a word of wisdom always invest only what you can loss in the process never ever invest something that might cause your whole life.
