WHO IS CRAIG BALLANTYNE?

Ballantyne

Craig, a guy from a farm in Canada, believes everyone can shape the life they want and build a successful business. With the guidance of mentors, he went from a broke and nervous personal trainer to an Empire Builder.

Craig Ballantyne achieved a lot, like creating five successful businesses, writing three books (one was a best-seller), and coaching various people worldwide. He doesn’t just help big CEOs but also regular folks like dads and teachers.

He assisted more than 260 businesses in hitting their first million and supported many others in doing more with less work.

He also mentioned on his website that his greatest mentors have been his dogs all along, Daisy, his yellow lab pup adopted in 2019 who’s been a teacher of crucial life lessons.

He claimed that Daisy’s determined efforts to grab attention reminded him that successful individuals are those with clear goals who consistently work towards them. Daisy’s joy in daily routines, like waking up, eating, walking, and playing at specific times, emphasizes the importance of structure in our sometimes chaotic lives.

While Daisy imparts valuable lessons, she isn’t Craig’s first impactful canine companion; Bally the Dog, though no longer here, was equally wise and had much to teach to the farm boy from Canada.

Comparing your life to a dog is an absurd idea, but one that’s very creative to the point that it helped Craig reach his peak. He’s not the only one who’s successful because of this idea, Craig has also helped a number of aspiring CEOs that he invested in.

There have been multiple testimonies about his investments and the majority of them were positive.

In short, Craig Ballantyne talks about becoming rich with a quick morning routine. He suggests spending just 15 minutes each morning following a plan.

WHAT’S HIS MORNING ROUTINE?

Morning Routine

At this point of the article, you must be thinking, what really is his Morning Routine? And the moment that you know you will be shocked, shocked by how simple his routines are, but it will also be explained how it helped him become successful.

In an article, he stated that he gets up around 3:45 am so that he can start writing at 4:00 am.

Writing articles and books is his number one priority after petting his dog, Bally, and greeting it with a good morning, on a good day, he finishes 1,500 words in sixty minutes.

Craig also stated that his early morning hours are his most creative and productive, and refers to them as his “magic time.”

“Everyone has a magic time during the day when they are 3-5 times more productive, efficient, creative, and energetic than they are at any other point in the day,” he added.

After writing, he meditates, walks Bally the dog, exercises, and has breakfast.

Also stated that if he’s in Denver, he heads out to his office for marketing meetings and employee coaching, and if he’s at home, near Toronto, Canada, he adds in two more hours of writing before the team gets to the office.

Craig’s been doing this routine, getting up this early since 2010 but back in his early 2000s when he was a personal trainer, things were a little bit different.

His coaching starts at 6:00 am each morning. When his online business grew to the point that he no longer needed to be a trainer, he started sleeping in until 7:30 am.

But he then realized that sleeping in left him feeling “behind” he then became anxious, so he tried getting up earlier and earlier until he settled into his optimal schedule.

TIME OF SLEEP?

Craig’s morning routine seems to be special, but have you ever wondered, what time he goes to sleep?

As per the man himself, his bedtime is at 8:00 pm, and he purposely learned to fall asleep quickly covering his eyes and ears with an eye mask and earplugs to further optimize his routine.

He switched up his daily plan to hit his goals and stay in good shape. According to him, anyone can give going to bed and waking up a tad earlier a shot.

Just think back to your college days when you loved sleeping in, right? Well just like how you managed to get up early for work, he believes that with a bit of planning, anyone can make it happen.

It’s kind of like setting your alarm clock a bit sooner.

“Staying up late seems really cool, but if it’s not working for your goals then you have to draw a line, hunker down, and make an important lifestyle change.”

a striking statement from Craig that a lot of people have been doing blindly.

HIS TEACHINGS

Craig Ballantyne

Craig stated in one of his videos to try and look at your favorite movie, a great musical, or even your favorite comedian, they all have one thing in common, they follow a script, a good one.

A script, a routine that makes it great, makes it really special for that piece to reach its peak. Craig calls this the Bill Belichick approach, where he believes that good things will happen if you follow a certain script.

He teaches people to script out their day the night before so that they will be ahead, therefore you get a lot more done every morning.

He also said that there’s actually a way to accelerate your results when you work in the morning, he calls it the Napoleon Hill subprime principle, Napoleon Hill is the author of the book Think and Grow Rich.

So what does this principle do, conditioning yourself the night before, prime your mind to think about how you would do the things you will do tomorrow.

This worked well, especially for him and it has helped Craig to be labeled as the most disciplined man, which really just means he’s the world’s most productive man.

He also added that the Priming helps him become three times more productive than the average person.

Craig doesn’t like long morning routines, calling them “perverse procrastination.” He advises against spending too much time on things like journaling or watching videos.

Instead, he recommends a quick “farm boy” routine, getting straight to work on the toughest tasks.

His teachings revolve around emphasizing the transformative power of self-improvement.

Over the years he has evolved from a broke, struggling, socially anxious, introverted personal trainer to a more extroverted and introspective individual, driven by a relentless pursuit of personal growth.

Now, Craig is focused on his family and expanding his workshops, aiming to share his gift and help others align their lives with their vision.

He also addresses the challenge of waking up early, suggesting an “Amish Hour” of no electronics before bed.

He thinks joining the 5 a.m. club is unnecessary and says you should find your own best waking-up time.

He believes in a short, focused morning routine for success. He thinks planning your day, priming your mind, and avoiding distractions can lead to more productivity and, eventually, wealth.

FINAL THOUGHTS

After thoroughly reviewing Craig’s routine, his teachings, his experience, and even some of the testimonies from those people that he has worked with,

I have come to realize that you can really create a big difference even with just the tiniest change, all you have to do is be constant about it.

Learning about his rags to riches story may fire you up, thinking this might also happen to me, yes it may, but it might not.

I’m not saying don’t listen to him at all, or listen to him entirely, what I’m trying to imply here is that there’s an unforeseeable future ahead of us, and his teachings might not be suited for the situation you’re in at the moment so instead of accelerating you might just slow yourself down.

I really hope we can all just plan ahead,  do things smoothly, and get to the end goal as easily as that, but no, the road is bumpy and full of obstacles.

Craig’s routine is great, taught lots of things that may be applicable to some but again, it might not be that effective for you, so just try and explore it yourself, and think of some things that may help you succeed,

who knows,  you might be the next Craig Ballantyne that I’ll be writing about.
